1) What the 12-Month Warranty Covers
We stand behind the quality of every product we sell. All items purchased directly from onlinesofaworld.co.uk include a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal household use
- Structural failure of frames, joints, welds, or fixings
- Defective hardware or fittings supplied with the product (e.g., bolts, springs, chains)
- Early material failure (e.g., splitting boards, seized mechanisms) not caused by misuse
2) What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper assembly or installation, or unauthorised modification/repair
- Normal wear and tear, surface marks/scratches, fabric pilling, colour variation, or age-related fading
- Weather or element damage (including rust, mould, UV fading) where protective covers were not used or items were left exposed
- Accidental damage, spills or stains, or use in commercial/professional settings unless specified for that use
- Products purchased from unauthorised resellers or third-party marketplaces (please contact the original seller directly)
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.
3) How to Make a Warranty Claim

Include:
- Order number and purchase date
- Description of the issue and when it was first noticed
- Clear photos (and a short video if helpful) showing the fault and the whole item
- Your preferred resolution (replacement part, replacement item, or refund)
Important: Keep all packaging and do not attempt repairs unless advised. This helps us process your claim efficiently.
4) Our Remedies
If your claim is approved within 12 months of delivery, we will, at our discretion, provide one of the following remedies at no cost to you:

5) Return of Defective Items
In most cases, we do not require the item to be returned if the defect is clearly documented.
If a return is necessary, we will:
- Email you a pre-paid, trackable return label, or
- Arrange a courier collection and provide packing instructions.
Unauthorised returns or returns made outside the warranty period may be refused.
6) Scope & Limitations
- The warranty period starts on the delivery date.
- Applies only to the original purchaser and delivery address.
- Applies to domestic/indoor use only, unless specified for outdoor or commercial use.
- For outdoor products, always use protective covers and follow care/storage guidance during poor weather or winter months.
