1) Is Shipping Free?
Yes — standard tracked UK delivery is completely FREE (£0) on all orders placed through our website.
2) Processing & Dispatch Time
- We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK bank holidays).
- You’ll receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
3) Delivery Time (After Dispatch)
- Standard UK delivery: typically 5–8 working days after dispatch.
- Delivery times may vary during peak seasons, public holidays, severe weather, or courier disruptions.
- We’ll keep you informed by email if any unexpected delays occur.
4) Order Tracking
All parcels are shipped using a tracked service. Once dispatched, you will receive:
- The courier’s name,
- Your tracking number, and
- A direct link to track your parcel online in real time.
5) Can I Change My Shipping Address?
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us immediately at contact@onlinesofaworld.co.uk.
- Before dispatch: We’ll update the address if possible.
- After dispatch: Changes may not be possible. If the parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, re-delivery fees may apply.
6) Missed Deliveries / Undeliverable Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us due to:
- Incorrect address,
- Missed delivery attempts, or
- Refusal of delivery,
we can re-ship it once received back at our warehouse.
Re-delivery charges may apply.
7) Deliveries Outside the UK
For international deliveries, please contact contact@onlinesofaworld.co.uk for:
- Current shipping rates, and
- Estimated delivery times based on destination.
Please note: customs duties, import taxes, or local handling fees are the customer’s responsibility.
8) Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If you receive an item that is damaged, missing, or incorrect, email contact@onlinesofaworld.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt.
Include:
- Clear photos or videos of the issue,
- Your order number, and
- A brief description of the problem.
We’ll investigate and resolve your case as quickly as possible.
9) Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped in separate parcels to speed up delivery.
You’ll receive individual tracking numbers for each shipment.
10) Pre-Orders / Backorders (If Applicable)
If an item is marked as pre-order or backorder, the estimated dispatch timeframe will be displayed on the product page or at checkout.
You’ll receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking once the item is shipped.
11) Returns & Refunds
We offer a 30-day return window for most items.
- Return shipping is free — we’ll provide a pre-paid, trackable label (Royal Mail, DPD, or similar).
- No restocking fees apply.
- Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the return. Your bank may take an additional 3–5 working days to credit the funds.
This policy is in addition to your 14-day statutory right to cancel under UK law.
How to return an item:
- Email contact@onlinesofaworld.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.
- We’ll send your RMA, pre-paid label, and packing instructions.
- Pack the item securely (preferably in the original packaging).
- Drop it off with the designated carrier.
- We process your refund within 7 days of receiving your return.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, we’ll prioritise sending a replacement or parts, and may not require a return.
