5) Order Authorisation, Capture & Invoicing
Your payment method may be pre-authorised at checkout.
We capture (charge) the payment once your order is confirmed and/or dispatched.
You will receive:
- An order confirmation email after checkout
- A dispatch confirmation with tracking details once your order ships
To request a VAT invoice, please email contact@onlinesofaworld.co.uk with your order number.
6) Statement Descriptor
Your bank statement may show “Online Sofa World Ltd” or “Online Sofa World” (depending on your payment provider).
7) Refunds & Returns
Refunds follow our Refund & Return Policy and UK consumer protection law.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Processing typically takes 3–7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
- Your bank may take 3–5 additional working days to post the funds.
8) Chargebacks & Disputes
If you believe a payment was made in error or see an unfamiliar transaction, please contact us first at contact@onlinesofaworld.co.uk.
We will investigate promptly and resolve the issue directly where possible.
Note: Raising a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution.
9) Fraud Screening & Order Verification
We use automated and manual anti-fraud systems to verify orders.
We may request additional verification (e.g., proof of address or ID) before dispatch.
Orders that fail verification may be cancelled and refunded.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order, including limits per person, household, or order (e.g., same account, card, billing, or shipping address).

10) Storage of Payment Information
We do not store complete card details or CVV codes.
Our PCI-compliant processors may securely store tokenised payment references to manage refunds, recurring payments (if applicable), or fraud prevention.
11) Buy Now, Pay Later (if applicable)
If you choose a financing or BNPL option (e.g., Klarna, Clearpay, or PayPal Pay in 3), your agreement is directly with that provider.
Their terms, fees, and credit checks apply. Please review their policies before completing your purchase.

We reserve the right to correct errors or omissions (e.g., pricing or description mistakes) and to cancel/refund affected orders if necessary.
Pricing and availability may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected unless a material pricing error occurred.
